Krysten is a dual US/EU citizen and San Francisco Bay Area native with a distinguished career in the VFX industry. She began her journey in Los Angeles, working on projects for established brands such as Nike, Apple, Audi, Samsung, Sony, Coca-Cola, Facebook, and Amazon, as well as major studios and platforms like Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Lionsgate, and more.
Her expertise extends beyond integrated advertising to long-form projects, including music videos for artists including Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, and Puff Daddy. Krysten has also contributed to episodic television, with notable work on shows including, but not limited to, the Emmy Award-Winning limited series Beef, featuring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun (Netflix), Grey's Anatomy (ABC), Bones (FOX), Silicon Valley (HBO), Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), and Ballers (HBO).
Krysten has shot, graded, edited, and finished both short and long-form projects for the San Francisco Symphony, as well as trailers for some of Netflix's biggest titles, including Academy Award-Nominated Maestro, directed by Bradley Cooper; Richard Linklater’s Hit Man featuring Glen Powell; Wes Anderson’s Academy Award-Winning Short Film The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar; Academy Award-Nominated Nyad starring Annette Bening and Julianne Moore; Todd Haynes’ May December featuring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, and Noah Baumbach's White Noise.
With a blend of creative and technical skills, Krysten has led creative teams as a Lead Flame Artist, Compositor, Colorist, Shoot Supervisor, and Post Production Supervisor. She has overseen and produced projects from inception to completion, establishing herself as a talented Videographer with a keen eye for cinematography, and an adept offline and online editor. Her freelance career spans large studios and boutique shops across the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.
Among Krysten’s myriad achievements, she has earned both Clio and Cannes acclaim, been featured in advertising campaigns for Autodesk, and moderated panels on post production topics at NAB Conference in Las Vegas, as well as in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, and beyond.
