Krysten is a dual US/EU citizen and a San Francisco Bay Area native who earned her chops working in the VFX industry in Los Angeles. She currently lives and works in San Francisco, California.
Krysten’s portfolio includes brands such as Nike, Apple, Audi, Samsung, Sony, Coca-Cola, Facebook, and Amazon. In addition to integrated advertising, she has extensive experience working on long-form projects, including music videos for the likes of Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Lopez, and Puff Daddy. She’s also worked in episodic television, making her mark on shows such as Silicon Valley, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and HBO's Ballers.
Krysten comes from both a creative and technical background, with experience leading creative teams as a compositor and finishing artist, colorist, and shoot supervisor, in addition to producing projects from inception to completion. She is a talented videographer with a keen eye for cinematography, as well as an adept and experienced online editor. She has worked as a one-woman band just as often as she’s worked on large shoots.
Krysten has spent her career freelancing at both large studios and boutique shops all across the country, as well as in Europe, Canada, and Australia. She has been featured in ad campaigns for Autodesk, earned both Clio and Cannes acclaim, and moderated panels on varying post-production topics. She spends her free time running a global group for women using Autodesk Flame; and finding ways to work towards racial equity within the industry and beyond. She is interested in continuing to be a DEI and social justice advocate. A lover of empathy, the NBA, history, non-fiction, and a memorizer of useless random facts. You want her on your Monday night trivia team.
